PROJECT TITLE: Rollinsford Water Main Replacement- Expanded Scope

The Rollinsford Water and Sewer District has applied for funds through the State of New Hampshire American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF), Drinking Water and Groundwater Trust Fund (DWGTF), to finance a water infrastructure improvement project for the Rollinsford Water and Sewer District.

The project includes installation of approximately 200 linear feet of water main on Mechanic St and two new water service lines. Water main and lead service line replacement will be completed as needed, and may include Front St, South St, Church St, Main St, Foundry St, Fourth St, Third St, Second St, Cross St, Washington St, and Franklin St. An extension of the water main on Church St and new water main installation on Cross St is proposed.

All required permits and approvals will be obtained prior to construction.

Whereas this project constitutes only a minor project and no significant environmental impacts are anticipated, a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) is proposed.

PUBLIC REVIEW

This public notice is published in accordance with Env-Dw 1300 and Env-Dw 1100, and a 30-day comment period will be held. Comments will be accepted through August 24, 2023.
